Organiser chooses for serial BMW 1 Challenge car which has very good sport characteristics even in it series manufacture.
The heart of this rapid car is six cylinder engine and stroke volume 3000 cubic ccm. For use of serial power was raised to 285 PS and equipped with racing radiator and exhaust pipe.
Other characteristics Bodywork Original BMW Motorsport, 4-door with integrated protective cage
Traction six-gear gearbox, rear differential gear with Drexler lock, race clutch
Brakes AP racing
Whells there will be available 8 wheels for every race (Ronal 17-8-31) Including 8 new pneumatics brand Matador Sport 225x610x17
Special equipment race seat SPARCO
Six-point safety belts
Safety tank 60 L / 120 L for endurance race
Extinguisher fire
Removable steering wheel
Race dampers and springs KW
Car is modified for races on circuits, in compliance with FIA regulations. Within frame of BMW 1 Challenge there will be used same spare parts, same fuel, oil and another filling. From all cars were removed absorbing materials and they will have the same weight without driver and fillings. For endurance races, additional tank will enlarge capacity of fuel to 120 L. Car will be equipped with additional headlights.
