Osim 5Nm nakon 1996., koja je razlika izmedju M42 b18 i b19 motora?
Zanimaju me tehnicki podaci i pogotovo slike motora u e36 (obadvije verzije) i motora u e30 takodjer (ima razlika u usisnoj grani).
ajmo, tko ima neka posta.

1800ccm i 1900ccm,nislim naj bitnija je kubikaža.

zaboravio sam to napisati.. podrazumijeva se.
ima li izvana nesto sto odaje da je jedan 1.9 a drugi 1.8?
i zasto kocke imaju drugacije rijesen usis?

- - the '91/E30 version of the M42 has a simpler single stage intake manifold
and a different oil pan than the later E36 versions

- - the '92-'94/E36 version M42 has the DISA two-stage intake manifold, M1.7
DME, and airbox similar to that used in M20 sixes.

- - the 2/94 (I believe) and later M42 have M1.7.2 DME, integrated coil pack
and a bigger, squarer airbox.

- - the M44 that made its first appearance in the '96s has fractionally
greater displacement and torque and some revisions to the valvetrain, but
is saddled with OBD2 and EWS.

The changes in the intake and displacement were meant to improve torque,
but there's only so much to be had from ~1800cc. At some point, the
crankcase breather hose nipple was moved from the front to the back of the
valve cover.

Physical contraints may dictate which combination of parts you can use; I
can't say, never having done it; I only wanted to point out the
differences I was aware of. There's a gentlemen from So. Cal on the
digests who has personally done the conversion. He can probably pick up
the specifics.

ima drukčiju usisnu granu, na e30 izgleda kao i na m40(kocka), dok na e36 ima 2 deblje cijevi i ima još jednu veliku klapnu/leptir između njih, koja bi trebala regulirati protok zraka, mislim da je to neki oblik promjenjive geometrije usisa, da bi se dobio elastičniji motor. točno ne znam koji ide bolje, neki govore da ovaj od kocke ide bolje, neki se kunu u e36...

moj je motor original od e36, i mislio sam ga takvog ubaciti u e30(jer mi se sviđala usisna grana:bangin: ), ali sam morao prespajati kablove na kockino ožičenje. brzo sam odustao, pa sam sve zamijenio kockinom granom i ožičenjem što je bilo još gore zato što nisam imao nekih sitnica tipa vezni komadi usisne grane, gume ler-motora, sve gume grijanja/hlađenja:bangin:

napraviti ću sad uskoro jedan report sa puno slika, samo da snimim filmić

da nije ova donja grana možda od m43 ili m40, ima okrugle usise(a 16V:dontgetit: ), te samo jedan leptir??

ovi u e36 imaju i 2 senzora koji osjete detonaciju, zavidani su na blok ispod usisne grane, ali to je najvjerojatnije u paketu sa novim ECU-om
